Movie Thoughts: Children of Men

*phew* that was an intense 2 hours.  I knew it would be, everyone had said it was a good movie but not a feel-good movie.  But it was very well done.  I loved the whole look of it.  Very raw and gritty.  And Clive Owen has really started to grow on my as an actor.  I think the first few times I saw him, he played sort of weird characters (Sin City, Closer) so I didn’t care for him, but he did a very good job in this.  Everyone did.

A bleak vision of the future, but it all felt very real and plausible.

I’m already on the wait list for the book, I’m very interested to see what the differences and similarities are.
