I can’t really think of anything to write about at the moment because, as usual, the news has made my brain simultaneously go numb and explode.

Instead, enjoy this screenshot from Animal Crossing. I’m working on Halloween-ing up my island because the lovely Discord group I belong to is going to do some island hopping trick or treating at the end of the month and I want to be a part of it!

There are an infinite amount of articles about how ACNH came out at the perfect time, when everyone needed their own personal fantasy island to escape to. And we all keep going back, not just because Nintendo keeps offering updates every few months with new goals for items to collect, but because the real world is just a freakin’ mess and, unlike our villagers, no one asks us what their new catch phrase to be or offers to move off of the island of their own free will.

(Yes, I made a “featured image” for this…I have a feeling a few more ACNH posts might be in order as the year goes on and I need to escape reality for a bit)
